How can I rent a car at Treviso Airport without a credit card?

Just follow these 6 steps:

Go to the “Vehicles” section and choose the car you like, select the departure point “Treviso Airport”, specify the date and desired options (departure and resting place, child seat for children, etc.) and submit the order.

If you have received your booking confirmation and invoice, it means that your vehicle has been reserved and will be available for your selected dates.

We will only contact you in the event of force majeure or if you book a car less than 24 hours before pick-up. In this case, one of our representatives will contact you. Without their confirmation, the booking is not considered confirmed.

To confirm your booking, a 30% advance payment of the total rental price is required. You can pay it by bank transfer, QR code or another agreed payment method within 5 days of the invoice date.

Important: if you cancel your booking less than 5 days (120 hours) before the agreed vehicle pick-up time, or if you do not show up at the agreed time and place without prior notice, the advance payment is non-refundable.

At the appointed time, we will meet you near the parking lot (from the station, turn left towards the parking area up to the arch). The employee will be holding a “RENTACARSLO” sign. If you do not see our representative, please stay where you are. Our staff member will be sure to come get you.

The remaining 70% is paid when you collect the vehicle, using any payment method that is convenient for you. A credit card is not required.

We accept:

  • all bank cards (credit, debit and virtual), including cards without the cardholder’s name or cards issued in someone else’s name;
  • payment via a secure payment link;
  • bank transfer using a QR code (the invoice can be issued to either an individual or a company);
  • contactless NFC payments (Tap to Pay);
  • cash.

We do not place a hold on your credit card. Instead, a refundable security deposit of €300 (or €800 for drivers under 21 or with less than 2 years’ driving experience) must be left in cash. It will be returned to you immediately when you return the vehicle, provided it is returned clean, on time and in accordance with the rental terms.

If the security deposit is paid by bank transfer, it will be refunded to the same bank account within 3 business days.

Yes, you can. Moreover, you can rent a car even without a credit or debit card.

Yes. We rent cars to drivers aged 18 and over. Drivers under the age of 21 or with less than 2 years of driving experience are required to purchase additional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW/CASCO) insurance and leave a €800 deposit plus the insurance excess (deductible).

There is no upper age limit for renting a car.

No. A valid national driving licence is sufficient to rent a car from RENTACARSLO.

Yes. you can. You will find the pickup/return points listed at the time of booking. If your city is not there, please let us know in the order note, we will check if it is possible to return the car there and what is the cost.

The rental price is based on pick-up and drop-off during working hours (from 9:00 to 18:00). For non-working hours, the following additional charges will apply: at 8:00 – €10, at 19:00 – €10, from 20:00 to 21:00 – €35, from 22:00 to 7:00 – €50.  This surcharge is  automatically calculated on the website when pricing your rental.

The rental price includes standard basic insurance, which covers third-party liability, and a “Green Card” for international coverage outside of Italy. It also includes additional insurance for windows and mirrors. For rentals longer than 7 days, you have the option to purchase comprehensive insurance (CASCO) at a daily rate of €9 to €13, depending on the car. The deductible ranges from €350 to €550.

Useful information about Treviso Airport

How do I get from Treviso Airport to Treviso by public transport?
Take MOM bus line 6 or the Treviso AirLink. Both connect the airport with Treviso Centrale railway station and the city centre in about 10–15 minutes.

Which intercity buses stop at Treviso Airport?
ATVO and Barzi Service connect Treviso Airport with Venice and Mestre. The bus stops are located just outside the terminal.

Where can I charge my phone at Treviso Airport?
Free charging points are available throughout the terminal, both before and after security. Many cafés also have power sockets or USB charging points.

Where is luggage storage at Treviso Airport?
Treviso Airport does not currently offer official luggage storage inside the terminal. If needed, look for luggage storage options in Treviso city centre or near Treviso Centrale station.

Insurance

What insurance is included in the rental price?

Your car rental includes standard basic insurance, covering liability to third parties and a Green Card for international coverage outside of Italy.

What about additional CASCO insurance?

When renting a car for more than 7 days, you can take out additional CASCO insurance, the cost is from 12 to 22 euros per day, depending on the selected vehicle. Franchise from 350 to 550 euros.

We also offer optional windshield and mirror coverage.

Opening hours & rates

The rental price is based on pick-up and drop-off during working hours (from 9:00 to 18:00). If you need a different address or delivery outside working hours, contact us, and we’ll arrange it.

Deposit

A security deposit of €300 is required. It can be paid in cash upon vehicle pick-up or by bank transfer no later than three days before collection.

The deposit will be refunded upon return of the vehicle, provided it is returned clean and with a full tank, in accordance with the booking terms.

If the deposit is paid by bank transfer, it will be refunded within three days.

RENTACARSLO reserves the right to adjust the deposit amount at its discretion.

How to calculate the number of days?

The number of days is calculated in 24 hour periods, 24 hours from the moment the car was issued, upon the occurrence of the following 24 hours is considered the next day. Excess is paid extra.

Can I return the car late?

If you return the car without prior written approval, a €70 penalty will apply, plus extra charges for the additional rental time

How do I confirm my order?

You should make a 30% advance payment. This prepayment is non-refundable if you cancel or fail to arrive without notice, and the rental terms will remain unchanged.

Attention! If you book a car less than 24 hours before pickup, wait for a written confirmation from our representative. Without it, the order is not considered accepted.

What is the mileage limit?

The mileage limit is 500 km per day. If you exceed this limit, an additional charge of €0,15 /km will apply.

Can I drive a rental car outside of Italy?

Yes, but you’ll need to inform us in advance about the countries you plan to visit.
