Rental Rules
- Payment and Deposit. Payment can be made in cash upon vehicle pickup or via bank transfer. A €300 security deposit is required. It must be paid in cash upon vehicle pickup or by bank transfer at least three days before pickup. The deposit will be refunded upon vehicle return, provided the car is returned clean and with a full tank. Alternatively, you may opt to pay an additional fee for car washing. Certain models are subject to mileage restrictions. Rentacarslo d.o.o. reserves the right to unilaterally adjust the deposit amount or substitute the reserved vehicle with a similar or higher-class model.
- Vehicle Pickup and Delivery. You may collect the vehicle at our designated location. Alternatively, we offer delivery to your specified address for an additional fee, which will be calculated upon request. If you are booking a vehicle less than 24 hours before pickup, please wait for written confirmation from our representative. Without this confirmation, the reservation is not considered accepted.
- Rental Rates and Hours. The rental price includes vehicle pickup and return during business hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM). An additional charge applies for service outside these hours: at 8:00 – €10, at 19:00 – €10, from 20:00 to 21:00 – €35, from 22:00 to 7:00 – €50. Rental days are calculated as 24-hour periods from the time of vehicle pickup. If the rental period extends beyond the initial 24 hours, an additional day will be charged.
International Travel and Mileage Our vehicles may be driven outside the Republic of Italy with prior approval. Simply notify us, and we will include the necessary documentation in the rental agreement. When traveling abroad, a daily mileage limit of 500 km applies. Any excess mileage will be charged at a rate of €0.10 per kilometer.
Booking and Cancellation. To confirm the booking, an advance payment of 30% of the rental price is required. In the event of cancellation less than five (5) days (120 hours) prior to the scheduled vehicle pick-up, or in the event of no-show at the agreed time and place without prior notice, the advance payment shall be non-refundable. The rental term and total rental amount shall remain unchanged. In the event of termination of the rental agreement or early return of the vehicle, Rentacarslo D.O.O. shall retain the full booking amount, thereby covering the loss of income resulting from such cancellation.
- Insurance Coverage. The rental price includes mandatory third-party liability insurance (OSAGO) and a Green Card. For rentals exceeding 7 days, additional insurance can be arranged at a cost of €12 to €16 per day, depending on the vehicle selected. The deductible ranges from €350 to €550.
- Vehicle Maintenance. All our vehicles undergo regular maintenance and technical inspections. However, our warranty does not cover tire conditions (e.g., cuts, punctures), the battery, or external and internal lighting bulbs (drivers should be capable of replacing headlights; vehicles are equipped with spare bulb kits), as well as fuel levels during the vehicle’s operation.
